Your score is determined based on your correct and incorrect answers on the test (1 point is awarded for a correct answer, and part of a point is deducted for an incorrect answer). The score is then converted to a percentile, which is a number indicating βwhat percentage of the participants you scored higher than on a given test.β A percentile of 90 means that you were better (or as good) than 90% of all participants.
The percentile expresses a comparison of test takers and faculties accept students according to different percentile levels. For some, a percentile of 20 may be enough, for others you will need more than 90. It often depends on the number of applicants. On the websites of faculties, you can usually find reports from the admissions process from previous years, which state the percentile threshold with which they accepted students in previous years. Scio does not decide on the percentile level required for admission to a particular faculty.
