Exam Process in 4 Steps

1. Invitation
- It contains all the instructions for the exam and a link to access the ScioLink application (where you will take the NCE).
- You will find it in your personal profile on this website - at least 10 days, but no later than 2 days before the exam.
- To be sure, we will send you an email notifying you of the publication of the invitation in your profile.
2. Mandatory equipment check
- No later than 3 days before the exam, you will undergo a short walkthrough of the ScioLink application, including answering a few questions. This will help you understand how the application looks, how to operate it, and whether it functions correctly on your computer.
- The mandatory equipment check can be done from anywhere, but use the computer or laptop on which you will take the NCE.
- We do not evaluate the results of the Mandatory Device Check.
- You must complete the check before each exam dat. If you do not do this, we cannot guarantee technical support.
3. Initial Checks
- You will access the ScioLink testing application through the link in the invitation. In the application, you will see a list of scheduled exams. The button to enter the exam will only be active when the exam officially begins, and you have 15 minutes to enter.
- After entering the testing environment, ScioLink will guide you through an initial check of your webcam, microphone, internet connection speed, and free space on your computer.
- After that, ScioLink will prompt you to install the Proctoring Desktop extension, which will run in the background during the exam. This allows us to monitor the processes running on your device.
- The application will then guide you through the rest of the initial checks – taking a photo of your ID, your face, a room scan, and connecting the second smartphone camera.
- Only after completing the initial checks will you start the test. Therefore, the initial checks will not take away from the time allotted for taking the NCE.
4. Test
- During the entire test, you will see a preview from the webcamera and the smartphone camera. This allows you to make sure that you are clearly visible.
- Follow the exam rules. If you violate them, we cannot recognize your exam result. After completing the test, the Proctoring Desktop extension will automatically terminate, and all monitoring of your activity on the computer will end.
- You will receive results and any further information regarding the NCE via email.

Desktop or laptop with a camera and microphone and Windows 10 or Windows 11 (x64 only) or macOS Sierra 10.12 or later. In both cases, with the Google Chrome browser.

📱 Mobile phone - second camera

Smartphone with a working camera and Android 9.0 or later / iOS 14 or later.

Connection: Download speed: 8 Mbps (1 MB/s), Upload speed: 1 Mbps (0.125 MB/s), Speed test, Using a virtual private network (VPN) may cause technical difficulties.
