Slovak as a foreign language

This test assesses proficiency in Slovak as a foreign language at the B1/B2 level.

⏱ 60 minutes   πŸ“ 84 items

The exam focuses on receptive skills β€”specifically, listening and reading comprehensionβ€” and evaluate the ability to understand both spoken and written text. The test also includes questions targeting vocabulary and grammar, as well as communicative questions focused on practical language use.

The test consists of multiple-choice questions (with exactly one correct answer) and several open-ended tasks. Participants earn a point for every correct answer, but they lose a fraction of a point for an incorrect answer (with the exception of the open-ended tasks).

Unlike other tests within the NCE, the result for this test will be presented not only as a percentile but also as a point score, in order to determine whether the candidate's proficiency meets the required threshold for the B1/B2 level.

To achieve level B1, the participant must score at least 46 points in the test, and to achieve level B2, a minimum of 59 points out of a total of 84.
